Azad, an 84-year-old business and the oldest existing business from the capital of Kerala launched its Azad Corporate House with multiple business verticals. The name of the new corporate house is Azad Legacy Corporate House.
The new Azad Corporate House was launched by Corporate Chairman Abdul Nazar Azad and Corporate Managing Director Nazeera Nazar along with Managing Directors of multiple verticals, Mahin Azad, Wazim Azad and Ozman Azad.
As a part of the strategy formulated by &Matthai Strategy Consulting, Azad Corporate Management has decided to rebrand its 84-Year-old restaurants as ‘Azad Heritage Hotels’ and dedicate it to the spirit of global tourism circuits. As a gesture of gratitude to the land and the nation, the Azad Corporate Management has decided to dedicate the Azad Heritage Hotels chain to promote culinary tourism to Kerala.
The two restaurants at Chalai and East Fort at Trivandrum will be the part of the Azad Heritage Hotels Chain. These two unique restaurants are probably the only two restaurants in south India standing in the same spot for over 8 decades now and serving the same base menu since its inception. Over 200-year-old Travancore Pakka Biriyani is the signature dish of these heritage hotels. Hyper-Local Travancore Cuisine will continue to be the highlight of the Azad Heritage Hotels. The history of these two restaurants and its legacy of hyper-local dishes will be used to promote cultural tourism, culinary tourism and heritage tourism to in-bound international and domestic tourists to Kerala.
Azad Heritage Hotels will thus join the list of Fabulous Indian Hotels from the pre-independence era that forms a part of Indian History and culture. The majority of these pre-independence era hotels are situated in Calcutta, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune.

The new Azad Corporate Identity is named as ‘The Star Flower’ with an in-depth meaning of connecting the joy-filled trio – beauty, unity and celebration.
