1940 India by Azad is a unique and innovative concept that enables the world’s restaurant industry to relook at the industry from a different perspective for the modern world of conscious living.

It takes out the best of three different restaurant categories and blends it into a new forward-thinking category for humanity because food is the key element that defines the health and progress of humanity. Because food is something that takes the world forward into a new dimension of thinking and living.

It blends three different categories of the restaurant industry. The first category is the Slow-Food category, an innovative and modern philosophy that stands diametrically opposite to the Fast-Food category. We have used all the concepts of the slow-food movement including: pure, healthy, fresh, tasty and slow elements. The second category that 1940 adopts is the Fast Service element from the Fast-Food category. Brand 1940 understands that speed is the new currency of the new age and the new way of life. So, we blend the fast and easy concepts from the fast-food category. The third category that 1940 takes in is the ethnic restaurant category to preserve the 85-year-old Azad Corporate ideology of documenting and showcasing the traditional delicacies of the world in its authentic and original form. The Desi element is the ingredient of this third category.
